Poor T!

Today is day four of T's inability to hear. He's been on antibiotics since Monday evening, but each day seems worse. He woke up in the middle of the night last night at the beach house (unsure of where he was) and headed out into the house looking for me crying all the way. Surprisingly, no one else seemed to wake up. I was in the same room with him before he left. I got out of bed and followed a ways behind him calling his name, but he couldn't hear me. Part of the problem is that with the sore throat, I'm starting to lose my voice.

The throat is much better this morning. I asked Z for a blessing in the middle of the night.

So, for now, I'm hollering so T can hear me, or at least, so that he'll hear something and turn around and read my lips. He's doing a lot of that I'm noticing. This has happened to two of my other kids earlier in their lives, but not this bad.

Wow, what a fun time at the beach :(

I hope T gets his hearing back soon, I can imagine it would be frustrating and even scary for him!

Poor kid! That's an adventure I've never had with any of mine.

I do remember one sore throat (didn't remember this story yesterday, when you were asking) that I had when I was pregnant with #4. It was wicked, and lingered day after day and of course I couldn't take any effective pain relief for it. I ended up spraying Chloraseptic every couple of hours, just to deal with the pain. I'm glad yours is improving, and hope it continues to do so!

That is soooo sad. Give Mr. T a big hug from me-- he's my buddy, you know. =) Ciera did this 2 times-- not fun.
I hope your throat gets better quick-- doesn't matter what it is, if your pregnant, it's awful. HUGS!!!

I hate when my kids get sick--I feel so helpless sometimes. Try sucking on Zinc lozneges for your throat--they will really help. they taste pretty nasty, and you lose your sense of taste after awhile, but they will help you recover faster.
