Close to Bursting

I washed the handprints off the window on the front of my oven yesterday. As I did so, I was thankful for the yummy things that bake there, and more importantly, for the little hands that left the handprints in anticipation of eating those yummy things.

Today, in the car, my son's crazy ringtone went off. My heart became happy just knowing that I'd get to speak with him in the middle of the day. I realized just how joyful this boy makes me.

It's the little things that make me happy....They remind me of the bigger things that bring me joy.

Life...what a blessing!

I have dishes to wash and I'm thankful for the wonderful meals we enjoyed.

I'm thankful for the shower and tub to clean because I know my family is clean and healthy of body.

Being thankful is so much fun. =)

Thanks Julie, I needed to be reminded how much I appreciate the mess:) When the grandkids leave and it is just me in the house all day, I miss all of the noise and messiness. But I must admit that quiet is nice once in a while:) I enjoy reading your messages. And I am glad they are frequent! I always feel a little silly that I enjoy writing so much. But I enjoy reading as well! Take care. Melody

That's a great attitude and a great example for us to look at the glass half full instead of half empty!
