Ashes Down!

Driving to the grocery store today with #6 and #7 in the car.  #7 is singing.  She sings the entire way to the store.  I say, "I don't know what song that is, but I really like it."  #6 says, "Mom, she's singing Ring Around the Rosie."  Sure enough.  I listen closer and there it is..."Ashes (with no 'h,' but I'm not about to write it the way it really sounded).  Ashes.  DOWN!"

That is always so dang cute when it's someone else's kid! LOVE it! And I love that #6 totally recognized it.

And actually....Her version makes more sense in the absence of plagues (or whatever bizarre reference the original was making).

Dont you just love listening to them sing fun little things. Dont you love it even more when the other kids are keyed into their singing/chatting even more than we are sometimes!
Kels was singing something at the bar last night and I had no clue what it was. Caiden was standing across from her in the kitchen and figured out she was singing her own little song to our come home from anything mantra "wash, change, eat/dinner plan" - it was hysterical. Guess she was just getting herself ready for travel today. So funny...
thanx for sharing about L, just amazes me how big she is, and almost a birthday girl again already! Such a little cutie and such a blessing to your family!
