Definitely Not Molly

I am a failure!  I have various dishes to take to various activities tonight.  A friend gave me a bread recipe that she claimed was the "easiest" there is.  I tried--twice.  I failed--twice.  What?  I thought Mormon women were supposed to be able to make bread.  I thought it was just part of who were are.  Well, hmm.

Sorry, Julie, had to laugh! I feel the same way about pie crust. Pretty sure it was you that gave me a fool proof recipe years ago. Guess what? Still not fool proof enough for me, I ruined it :) Even after you showed me how to make it even! Pretty sad.

Join the club, Girl! Been there...compared myself to THAT! You rock...being a perfect Molly is overrated!

I'm far, far, happier living in a neighborhood full of friends like you who are real human beings instead of people pretending to be perfect. We're all in this together and all have our struggles we're getting through. If Molly Mormons exist, I haven't met any (although I've met a few who were determined to put that mask on for the world).

Thing is, I have met a lot more people who believe that out there, there must be a host of perfect people they just have to be like.

I only finally figured out how to make bread when we found out my son has Celiac and I was forced to. Now I kind of enjoy it. Kind of...
