I hate this tree!
I think it is a pretty well-known fact that I really do HATE this tree. I call it the Dr. Seuss tree and would eventually like to chop it down, burn it and replace this space with hydrangea bushes. Don't you think that would be lovely?
As I'm sitting here in the front room preparing a portion of tonight's Mutual activity, the sky is grey, the rain is falling and the wind is gusting....so much so that the little tree is bending. Hmm. Brings some evil thoughts to mind. If I were to just go give it a little extra push, Z'd think it was an accident, wouldn't he? He wouldn't even question it, would he?
There are a few things he holds on to from this house in its original form--that lovely tree is one of them. Sigh.....

Oh...to get your hands on some Seussical-esque birds and wire them to that tree.... Maybe he'd agree with you then about how the tree needs to become kindling...Oh. Wait. We are talking Zan, here. Hmmmm... on second thought; ixnay on the irdsbay idea. Might become a family tradition...Easter egg tree, etc. Sorry, Sis!(*smilin' sigh*)
I think I should come one of these nights and chop it down. :):)
He might thing it was an accident if you hadn't just blogged about it!
Great thing...he doesn't read my blog. Mwah ha ha
You almost had me until you pointed out the Seuss connection. That's cool!
Um, oh... sorry, I'm not helping, am I?
I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees.
We could hire a hit man. Think they have one for that? hehehehehe.
too funny!
hydrangeas would be LOVELY! i'll keep my fingers crossed that it blows over.
what if you just planted the hydrangeas around it and casually let it overtake the tree?
I think it is rather charming actually! :) But if you don't like it, maybe you should put it to a family vote...or you could just transplant it to a place that wouldn't bother you anymore...so you don't have to look at it but it won't be destroyed either.
Awww! I like it, too! Kind of quaint and knobbly.
To cheer you up, I'm dropping by to tell you there's a new book contest running on my blog this week. It's a good one :-)
Ha-ha. I actually like it. I think it looks artistic. Hmmm, maybe I'll sneak by in the middle of the night and snatch it from you.
Umm yeah, looks like wax on wax off to me...
