WOW! I had no idea Courtney was so famous and doing such amazing things! I see her every week just doing her everyday things.
It is amazing to see how the youth have grown and changed - it is hard not to look at them and remember their cute little faces when they were just tiny! Now they are all grown up and each accomplishing wonderful, individual things. Life really is a marvel and a wonder!
We went to one of her concerts a few months ago and absolutely loved it! Honestly, I had never heard of her before that, but now I listen to her cd all the time and I love every song on it.
So whats the story with this girl? How do you know her and where can I get her CD? I love it! Gorgeous voice. I need to know the scoop!
Wow! Such a talent! She soooo looks like her mom and is so classy, too. Any wonder? Music runs in that family. The Fam must be so proud! Incredible. I am asking for her CD for Christmas.
Okay, Darilyn, here's the scoop. Courtney's parents are some of our dearest friends. When Z and I were first married and living in Monmouth, they took us under their wings and made sure we had a social life and got out of that little town a few times a month. They even threw the baby shower when I was expecting Q. I think they may have saved our marriage and my sanity in way more than one case. They're GREAT people! I think Courtney was probably about three at this time.
Since then, we've stayed in pretty close touch; although it's become trickier over the years as we've moved away and each of our kids have gotten older. They come for baby blessings and baptisms for us so far, and we go to weddings and missionary farewells, oh and rockin' concerts for them. We almost always meet up on the fourth of July (see my post from this last 4th).
