I went ahead and re-signed up for facebook. So much easier to log back on than to get off the thing. Anyway, find me there. I had so many of my blogging friends signing on and received a few invitations that I couldn't stay away. Let's hope for the best this time.

Here's hoping it goes smoothly now. I understand the need to pull back, though. I was this close >< to unlocking my blog here, even, and had a shake-up that pushed me back away from being that comfortable for a while. Yeah, it sucks that 2 people read my blog (and I'm not even sure but wonder if keeping it locked is keeping even those I invited from dropping by as often)... but when something happens priorities get looked at differently. I haven't had a Facebook Incident, but I can imagine how that probably felt.
Facebook, though... hm.
I've thought about signing up, but I don't know... real names... not that that stopped me from joining LinkedIn openly, though, so what's the difference, I wonder?
Maybe I should try it (?) I have heard some negative complaints but not sure how many of them are really legit, to be fair.
Just be very specific about who you are going to add as friends. Just because someone wants you to add them you dont have to. I ignore requests all the time. I don't think that makes me mean or snobby but just careful. These are people that I'm not really not that close to or dont know very well. Follow your instinct. It will be fine.
