My sister sent this to me this morning. Wow! This is from an address at BYU in 1978. Is he talking about today or what?! Listen and be in awe of these prophecies. Then stand firm and immovable.

That's very powerful Julie! Thanks for sharing. I loved Elder Maxwell. My son was friends with Elder Maxwell's grandson when he was younger. I miss Elder Maxwell and his great speeches and many words of wisdom!
Whoa. Really, whoa. Thanks for sharing that. It impressed me so much when he said that those in the spacious buildings had other things to do, but they took the time to look upon the righteous and mock them, because their seemingly disinterest, was actually interest. Hopefully we take the opportunity, when we see that happening in our lives, and share the gospel. I hope we are strong enough and courageous enough to do so, and that really is my prayer.
I saw this on youtube last month-during all the picketing at the temples. Really is amazing how He is talking to us TODAY. It is terrible irony to see this come to pass now.

i read this in October but had not seen the video of it. It really is amazing to think that 30+ years ago an apostle of the Lord was already speaking of something we needed to be prepared for today.
